Tweed Valley Pétanque Club meet on Wednesdays and Sundays from April to October for social games and club competitions, we also have practice sessions on the first Saturday of each month.
The new season begins in April at Kailzie Gardens.
We are always looking for new members of any age or experience level. You will be made most welcome.
Pétanque pronounced (pay-tonk or peytank) is a true community sport as anyone can play regardless of age or physical ability.
Tweed Valley Pétanque Club welcomes all - some people will be social players who are simply looking to meet new people and play social games. Others will wish to compete in club competitions and perhaps try to qualify for the Scotland squad. We have seasoned players on hand to assist those who wish to develop their game.
If you enjoy good company and friendly competition you will enjoy playing Pétanque.
It is a simple game to learn, costs very little and can be played almost anywhere outdoors by young and old.
We are here to help you to enjoy our sport at whatever level you wish to play – whether you just want to play the occasional game with family or friends or want to play at the very highest level and perhaps compete Nationally or Internationally.
